There seems to be this misconception that being wealthy or even well-off financially is a sin.  I don't like hearing that.  Having money is never a sin.  It's what you do as a result of having that money that can cause you to sin.  Greed is a sin.  Gluttony is a sin.  Not loving your neighbor yourself is a sin.  Having money is not a sin and we seriously need to normalize the fact that Christians can be wealthy and not inherently be evil.  The thing is that we forget that while God is a God that we need to respect, He is also a God of love and benedictions.  

If you don't believe me, then you can get this piece and see for yourself.  This piece is an antique rosary that has been around the world.  It was taken around the world by one of the Wissahickon monks that came from Europe to settle in what would eventually become Philadelphia.
