The Comte de Saint-Germain active primarily in the mid-18th century, "died" 1784,  remains one of history's most enigmatic figures, with his true identity, birth, and origins unknown, fueling endless occult speculation. Historical records confirm he was a real adventurer, musician, diplomat, and alchemist who dazzled European courts, but much of what surrounds him blends verified anecdotes with myth, embellishment, and esoteric tradition. This is what the government likes to say. No one even wants to address that his home is still being paid on, taxes and all. 
Unknown Origins and Identity.
His real name, birthplace, and parentage are undocumented. He appeared in society around the 1740s–1750s seemingly out of nowhere, with immense wealth but no clear source. Common theories suggest he was the son or hidden heir of Prince Ferenc Rákóczy II of Transylvania, raised in secrecy by the Medici family in Italy due to political exile.
He hinted at royal blood himself  claiming to be "Prince Rákóczybut never confirmed it.
Some esoteric sources link him to past lives as figures like Christian Rosenkreutz, founder of Rosicrucianism or Francis Bacon. I know this isn’t in order but the wealth was coming from blood magic he did with the Medici family. The excuse of who or where he came from was just that, an excuse. This excuse of being royal would explain to others his great wealth. If you are immortal you still need wealth to get on in the world.
Immortality and Eternal Youth.
He always appeared around 40–45 years old, never aging noticeably over decades of sightings. Contemporaries like Horace Walpole and Madame du Hausset noted this, and he claimed knowledge of events centuries old as if he'd witnessed them. That’s because he had.
He reportedly developed or possessed the Elixir of Life, brewing potions for patrons that promised longevity (though he ate sparingly in public, sometimes claiming to live on oatmeal or special preparations). He didn’t have a need to eat a lot. 
In occult traditions (especially Theosophy and the "I AM" Activity), he achieved physical immortality through alchemy around 1684 (as Bacon) and ascended as a master, still active spiritually.
Post-"death" sightings are numerous and persistent. 
Late 18th–19th century. Reported at Masonic gatherings and by figures like Comte de Chalons (1789).
19th–20th century. Encounters claimed by Theosophists (e.g., Annie Besant), and even a 1972 French TV interviewee posing as him.
Modern esoteric groups view him as Hierarch of the Aquarian Age, guiding humanity invisibly.
