The pin you are looking at is an antique. The marking on the back usually means gold filled. The owl is for being wise to all things important. 
The moto we never sleep is because vampires don’t. The owl also doubles as a creature of the night seeking prey.  Where does that moto come from though? It comes from Xerxes a Persian King. This pin is a secret society pin for the Knights of Splendor. It is said that the power and the turning into a vampire for Xerxes came about when a pyramid was laid before his eyes and he walked into the doorway of it. He came out as a full blown vampire with everything enhanced on his body and new abilities he had knowledge of and could use as if he was born with this. He could drink blood or not. He had no addiction to it. He made children that live today.  He is still here today. This pin gets you into the pyramid. If you walk through the door you will change. The pyramid comes to you!
